BRAZILIAN AMAZON | Pará

Women, Tourism & Community Impact in the Brazilian Amazon

TL’s journey in the Amazon began in 2023 with our first Leadership Retreat, where strategy sessions met hands-on engagement with inspiring local initiatives led by women in tourism.

Handicrafts: We source large volumes of locally made crafts for year-end gifts and event décor, directly supporting community livelihoods.
English Training: We fund English classes for four talented young women working in tourism, helping them better connect with international visitors.

We also partner with Movimento Refloresta, an NGO nurturing the next generation of Amazon activists through transformative learning journeys. On each journey, TL proudly sponsors an exceptional young woman, amplifying her voice and impact.

PERU

Education & Empowerment in the Peruvian Andes 

TL’s commitment to women’s futures in Latin America extends to Peru, where we have proudly sponsored the education of a girl—now a young woman—for more than a decade through our partnership with the Sol & Luna Foundation.

The foundation transforms lives in the Sacred Valley by providing education, care, and holistic support to underserved children. Through its school, boarding home, and therapeutic programs, it breaks cycles of poverty while honoring and preserving local culture.
